Jenny Young

Head of Business Development and Enterprise Services, University of Greenwich


Jenny Young leads Greenwich Research and Enterprise business development services at the University of Greenwich. She is responsible for developing links between the University, business and the community and working with businesses to access academic expertise to help them innovate and grow. She has recently been part of a university-wide project team, involved in setting up Degree Apprentices, to ensure that local employers are involved in identifying and determining Degree Apprenticeship provision. Jenny is a member of the London and South East Employment and Skills Board.

Degree Apprenticeships: Growing Your Own Graduates

A Degree Apprenticeship is a real job where the employer invests in training and the employee receives a degree during the course of the apprenticeship. This workshop will take you through the nuts and bolts of Degree Apprenticeships, explaining the differences between this, and more traditional routes to study and professional development.
